Airfare: It doesn't need to be a hassle!
When booking a flight today, you are presented with literally thousands of possibilities making it hard to make a decision. We are going to give you a hand and our best notes on how to do it efficiently.
1. Flexible or not?
Being flexible with your booking dates is probably one of the most critical factors in your search for good airfare deal. Usually, do not have a set departure and return time and finding the best fare go hand in hand because of the Peak and OFF peak seasons, which is normal. AS we all know demand dictates supply so imagine its winter in your country, somewhere around the world is summer and you want to go there to collect some vitamin D. Now you have created a price trend. So being flexible with the dates is your best money saving tool.
2. If you are flexible.
So you said you can go whenever? Then your absolute best choice when it comes to finding the best airfare is the SkyScanner search engine. Skyscanner compares millions of flights to find you the cheapest deal, fast. You can initiate your search by destination, by month and so on. They also compare and find the most affordable hotels and car rental for your next trip. There is also an app that is beautiful and helps you find the best deals in minutes. You can see it below.
3. If you are NOT flexible.
Yoga and Pilates won’t help here but… If you only have set dates to work with your best option for finding cheaper fares is to look at some of the other excellent search engines like Momondo or Kayak.
P.S. – I would never book directly with an agency. Most of the time, this is the most expensive choice.
P.S. – Clear your cookies. It’s not a 100% solid theory but its worth considering. While you are working hard to scan all search engines so do cookies. So if you are researching an upcoming trip from Seattle to Tokyo and have checked airfares on the route frequently in recent days or weeks, the site “knows” you really want these tickets, and “guesses” that you might be willing to pay a bit more for them.
4. Never pay cash!
And I don’t refer to using paper money to pay for your actual airfare. We live in a world of promotion. Never miss a chance to grab something for free. But how? Get a credit card and start earning points on everything and never pay cash for anything again. Then everytime you book, you have options- redeem points for free travel or put it on the credit card (of course, as long as you pay it off each month)
We all know what confidence is and what it feels like to be confident, but have you ever thought of
