Nagoya is sitting between Tokyo and Kyoto. It is Japan’s fourth most populated city. It is also one of the biggest metropolitan and industrial centers. We were fortunate enough to have the JR Pass on our side allowing us to use the Hikari Shinkansen line to spend less time in transfers and more time in city exploration. Even though Nagoya was not really in our initial plans, my friends and I had a very clear goal- visit Nagoya Castle. We had seen beautiful photography of the castle, so we wanted to see it for ourselves. It was totally worth it. This city guide will be slightly different than Kyoto and Tokyo City Guides because we spent less than 3 hours in the city and we didn’t get to enjoy it much. Hopefully, you like our story in pictures.
